WHAT IS LIVE SCAN
FINGERPRINTING?
Live Scan is a digital fingerprinting process that replaces traditional ink fingerprinting in states where it’s available. An applicant’s fingerprints are securely transmitted to a government agency, which performs a criminal history background check using an Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS).
Live Scan is often required by statute for certain types of state-issued licenses, employment, and volunteer work. It has many advantages over ink fingerprinting, including image quality and result turnaround time.
WHO NEEDS LIVE SCAN ANYWAY?
Real Estate Licensees, DMV Licensed Professionals, Notaries, Foster Parents, Teachers, Appraisers, Care Givers, Stock Brokers,Contractors, Nurses, Doctors, Surgeons, Security Guards, Volunteers, Lawyers, etc.
*** If your Live Scan Form has a 6-Digit Billing #, then your live scan is only a $25.00 ($28.00 credit) Rolling Fee (Billing # is NOT a Mail Code)

Step 1:
Request for Live Scan Form Your employer or requesting agency will provide you with a request for live scan form. Complete the section that requires your information (name, date of birth, etc.) Bring 3 copies of the form and VALID identification to our facility. |
Step 2:
Pay the livescan fees Our rolling fee is: $25 cash, or $28 credit card. The DOJ & FBI fee varies due to the type of employment & level of service required. Example: DOJ is $32 & FBI is $17. Click to view live scan fees     |

We scan your fingerprints Your employer or requesting agency will provide you with a request for live scan form.
